To the audience, he is a shapeshifter. Capable of having voices that aren't his own and allowing his body to draw entire scenes in the air for him.

It's rare for Motley to get out of the castle, but when he does, his shows are always overcrowded. Dragons miss school and work just to hear his incredible jokes. They say he is amazing.

But to those who work with him, he is nothing but a nuisance. He boasts them and gives them orders despite his low rank among those in the castle. The only time he ever bows his head is when Akilina is in the room. Even the Queen falls victim to his antics, for he doesn’t bow to her, either.

The other dragons wonder why the Queen lets him stay despite his terrible attitude but have yet to find an answer.

But if Motley had to guess, it probably has something to do with the way he bats his lashes to Celestia, the jokes that make her laugh oh so sweetly, and the way of which he keeps her company. 		xxxxx
