Lore History: Paternal grandfather Dorian disgraced Ice soldier/mercenary, paternal grandmother Caero an Ice Princess (tygertiger). Maternal grandmother a Fire guide (gelberus). Mother Yohane of the Vault of Forgotten Wanderers (vailserenity).

Crescelle has at once an illustrious and a checkered pedigree. On her father's side she is royalty, as the granddaughter of Princess Caero. But she also has little claim to such a noble notion, being that said grandmother fled her Clan and took up with a mere soldier. They ended their flight in the Plaguelands. Meanwhile, Crescelle's mother's family was of Fire, but she migrated to its polar opposite, Water, and took refuge with the Vault of Forgotten Wanderers.
Crescelle was born this small enclave, isolated from much of the outer world. As such, many find her naive, and the more unscrupulous find her easy prey for manipulation. Unfortunately, Tangle herself is in no way above such tricks. Crescelle found herself lost in the Tangled Woods, frightened and confused. Tangle undoubtedly saved her life, and never let her forget it. It is not that Crescelle is an unwilling resident of the Crystal Den, more so that she is frightened of fighting of any sort and therefore has no stake in Tangle's dream of a Great War. So far, she has been soothed by compliments on her beauty and pushed to focus on raising her own children, and has found happiness doing so. However, she dislikes Tangle's emphasis on interbreeding and wishes dearly for a dedicated mate of her own. She has also been rattled by Istar's intensity and at times cruel and dismissive attitude to her, when she at first believed him her mate decreed so by Tangle herself, whom Crescelle regards with the twin fear and reverence of a goddess.
