EDIT WARNING This dragon's lore is currently canonically inaccurate for the following reasons: I am currently in the process of rewriting this dragon's narrative to better align with the revision of beastclan-dragon interactions throughout Sornieth's history. Please proceed with caution and understand that the following lore was written with the previous version of Sornieth's history in mind! |

tau'riel.
the fire representative & manticore queen | regal • fierce • hot-headed
Quote:
♫ grrrls - aviva
The most hot-tempered of all the Council's representatives, Tau'riel certainly brings an...interesting aspect to every meeting. Even her own charges find her intimidating, though they'll still approach her with concerns when necessary.
i. history
Abducted by manticores as a hatchling, Tau'riel grew up as merely 'Tau', meaning "servile" in the manticorian tongue. True to name, she was inducted into the royal court as a servant and symbol of power. Her fiery nature and rebellious tendencies earned scorn from her masters and respect from her equals; when she eventually overthrew the previous monarch, a substantial following supported her in the effort to establish new rule. Of course, a dragon ruling a manticore clan is sure to draw attention--both good and ill--and eventually Tau, then called Tau'riel ("servant-queen"), was forced to flee with her most loyal followers. A mixed group such as hers was welcome in few of Sornieth's corners, but she found eventual respite in Thunder Hollow. Then, she learned (or, perhaps, re-learned) draconic and accepted a place as representative to put her compelling political skills to use. The rest is, truly, history.
