The Junkyard is a wide swath of land surrounded by a rusting chain-link fence; entering the front yard results in being greeted by Aracheske and Spinere, a pair of strange, nightmarish creatures that appear to be sinuous hybrids of dog, cat, and dragon. Nyx spends most of her time in the front yard, and is the only dragon in the whole lair that seems to have any handle on Aracheske and Spinere - though she's more than a little deranged, herself.
Beyond the front yard is a ramshackle building that looks like it should be condemned. Inside one will find a shabby office, usually with Moxie relaxing at a shabby desk - they handle most of the contracting work, and are most of the face of the Junkyard Courier Company (name not yet finalized). Behind it is the Junkyard, and beyond that, the boxy shape of the Garage looms, various rods atop it sparking, power conductors stacked on either side.
The Junkyard itself covers the wide swathe of land between the shabby building and the Garage, a rolling valley filled with precariously stacked piles of junk. In the front of the yard, the stacks make some sort of sense - there's piles of gears, heaps of springs, and so on - but the further you go, the taller the piles get, and the less sense they make. Fortunately, there are guides to help you navigate the strange maze that is this clan's hoard - Rascal tends to do most of the talking when outsiders seek tours of the Junkyard in search of something in particular, though occasionally his second, Sneak, will take over - she is much, much more enthusiastic than he is.
Wraith rarely talks to outsiders - it's not exactly confident with interacting with dragons just yet - and Sly tends to watch the goings-on from obscured and/or high vantage points whenever there is something happening. He's quick to pickpocket anyone foolish enough to not be paying attention, only to sell them their own items back later at a ludicrous price.
Nestled against one of the fences is a pile of Compost, one that regularly gets added to from the Compost Heap that piles up behind the house.
