BIOGRAPHY


XXXPhinnan, an intelligent and skillful dragon, was originally from the Starfall Isles. From a very young age, he knew he wanted to be a Healer, but he could never find any other Arcane dragons who had the same passion as him. When he was old enough to survive on his own, he left his family to try and find a Healer who would teach him. Phinnan ended up finding a small school in the Sunbeam Ruins and spent years of study in the school’s Healer program to become a Healer.

XXXAfter graduating from the school, Phinnan went in search of a home in need of Healers. It wasn't long before he stumbled upon the Calyx Coven, whose Head Healer, Maelstrom, was looking for Healers to join his team. Phinnan arrived in the Coven shortly after Mellisistrata had joined, and Maelstrom introduced Phin and Melli to one another. The young Imperials weren't immediately smitten with one another, as Mellisistrata only had eyes for her lessons with Maelstrom.

XXXIt wasn't until a few months later, after Melli became Maelstrom's official assistant, that Phin finally told her he had feelings for her. Melli was hesitant to be in a relationship, as she wasn't sure having a mate would be ideal, what with her healing duties and all. Phin was persistent though, and after a year of courting Melli the two became official mates.

XXXUnlike his mate, Phinnan does not have a soft, melodic voice. On the contrary, his voice is quite gravely and rough on the ears. He doesn’t speak much because of this, so when he does speak he is direct and straight to the point. The only dragon who hears more than a few sentences from him at a time is Mellisistrata. She loves the sound of his voice. The two of them will sit down and talk about their day over dinner before cuddling together in their den to sleep through the night.

XXXShady is Phinnan’s Overwatered Seedling Familiar. Like all of the other dragons in his graduating class, he was gifted a Familiar as a graduation present from the school officials. All of the graduates were gifted a Familiar who would be able to aid them in whatever area of expertise they were graduating from. As Phinnan graduated a Healer, he was gifted a Familiar who could assist him in his healing duties. Shady loves to help Phinnan in any way the dragon sees fit, whether it is by passing him gauze or a scalpel or watching over a patient and alerting Phinnan when they wake up. The two make a wonderful team.
