BIOGRAPHY


XXXEtzelandros is a quiet, contemplative, and noble dragon with a stern glare. He speaks in a formal manner due to his royal upbringing. He is the second child of the King and Queen of a Clan with a monarchical system, which made him a Prince. Growing up, he was given everything he could ever want or need. Etzel knew that he would never become King because his older sister, the first born, would be Queen, per the laws of their Clan. However, when the time came for his sister to take the throne, she declined and announced that she planned to exalt herself to the Plaguebringer instead.

XXXThere was outrage throughout the clan, as this had never happened before. Etzel realized that since his sister had declined the throne, that meant the crown defaulted to him. Except, he didn't want to be King, either! So Etzel also refused the crown. Under intense outcry and confusion, Etzel and his sister fled from their Clan's territory. They split up a few days later, and Etzel hasn't seen his family since.

XXXTraveling became Etzel's new life. He wouldn't stay in one place for more than a few days, for fear that his parents had sent someone after him to bring him back to the Clan and force him to take the crown. But after a few years of traveling and never putting down roots, Etzel realized that he was finally free from his past. He decided that the next place he found would be his new home, which just so happened to be the Calyx Coven. He stayed in the Tavern for a few months before becoming a full member of the Coven. He now enjoys his life as a Guard of the Coven.

XXXBefore finding the Calyx Coven, Etzel had a one time fling with a Fae dragon named Anaril. She revealed to him that she was going to have his eggs, which stunned him. He had never wanted to have children! He and Anaril fought when he told her he did not want to be a father. Angrily, she disappeared into the night without so much as a goodbye. Etzel hasn't seen her, or his unknown children, since.

XXXToday, he has a new and loving mate, Callisto. The two are a lovely match. Both are stoic and level-headed, slow to anger, and overall dedicated to each other and the Coven. Unlike some other dragons in the Coven, the two Skydancers are not the kind to partake in public displays of affection other than perhaps to press their heads to their mate's head or neck. Their love language is more so words of affirmation rather than physical touch.

XXXMuckmuck is Etzelandros's Sludge Sifter Familiar. He met the slippery eel-like creature when Muckmuck got himself stuck in the mud on the shore of a river that flows through Calyx Coven's territory. The Sifter was stuck so deep in the mud only his head was visible with his arms stuck, useless, to his sides. When Etzel found Muckmuck, he carefully dug into the mud around the creature to free him. Now Muckmuck stays in the river and Etzel will go to visit him occasionally to have friendly chats and share food.
