It's been said he can steal stars...

★★★ HOW HIS POWERS WORK
Ravirre believes that he needs up to multiple stars a day to fuel him enough to stay alive. If he doesn’t feed one or two days in a row, he begins to feel fatigued and with time he’d eventually lose the ability to move his body. The stars’ energy is used to anchor him and give him form in the physical world. However, one star would be enough to fuel him his entire life if he learned to use it correctly. You see, Ravirre can be compared to a black hole when it comes to eating stars. He pretty much acts as one, stealing the energy he currently needs from the star and propelling the excess into an alternate dimension; only a small, small portion of the star’s energy is actually harvested to fuel him, and the rest is discarded.

★★★ HOW THIS IS BAD
Rakasa eventually comes across this dimension where all Ravirre’s star-waste has been collecting, and over the years it has created a place that is crammed to the brim with energy. The amount of energy in this dimension versus their own tips the universal scales and throws the cosmos off balance, which could eventually lead to the two dimensions collapsing. Ravirre is not responsible for all of this misplaced energy (the Shade is likely responsible for most of it), but he is definitely responsible for a good portion of it. Rakasa puts two and two together after hearing rumors about Ravirre and his insatiable hunger, and approaches him about the issue. Now Ravirre must learn how to harness his power and filter the elements within the star. He hasn’t made much progress so far, but he’s working on it.

★★★ PERSONALITY
Ravirre came to Elysian with Vaere, his best friend, as hatchlings. They sought to find a place where Ravirre wouldn’t be outcast because of his odd situation, and figured the magical city would probably be the best place to blend in. Ravirre met Nemesis, his long distance mate, before arriving in the city. He’s a private dragon who keeps to himself and snaps at people easily. He’s perpetually grumpy, as his predicament caused him to have a rather negative outlook on life. The dragons that aren’t scared of him are usually powerful and don’t care much about his situation, so he only really has one friend. And yes, despite what most think, Ravirre and Vaere are just friends, and both have/had lovers of their own (both are secret, however). Ravirre struggles with his long distance relationship and his kids with Vaere are a result of him trying to find what he has with Nemesis and he was never able to really find that.

Ravirre looked up to the stars, and they glared back at him. He figured he deserved it.
