Ruilik is only tolerated in Contemplations because he is an amazing tailor. If he wasn't, he would get kicked out for being haughty, rude, self-centered, and generally being obnoxious. Krusyim has attempted to choke him out on several occasions. Somehow, he managed to woo the nicest dragon in the clan, which probably has more to do with her ability to see the good in everyone than it is with him being an irresistible stud. He treats her very well, though. Losi keeps asking him about his background and he always finds a way to avoid the topic.


Ruilik is an exiled prince from a kingdom just south of the frigid floes. He was the rightful heir to the throne, and glad to take his place there upon the natural passing of his father in the far future. His younger brother, however, could not abide it and decided to become king by his own hands. He slayed their parents, and would have slain Ruilik, too, had he not fled with the aid of loyalist royal guards. To hide from his brother's wrath, Ruilik tread across the whole continent straight to the Lightweaver's land, sure his brother's influence could not spread to the opposite side of Sornieth.
