Lucius was born of a goddess; who would have thought that would be his downfall?


Ever since the Imperial was a hatchling, he knew he was unwanted. For why would a god want a little pest at his legs? And as expected, when Lucius came of age, his parents cast him away. They told their son that he was to find out the secret hiding in Elysian, a Shadow clan hidden deep in the Tangled Wood. There was something powerful there, and Lucius would be the one who figured out what it was. Lucius obeyed his parents and traveled to the Shadow clan, because who would be stupid enough to defy a god and goddess? But he never believed his parents, brushing aside his duty once he arrived, and instead decided to create a new name for himself. His amazing, wonderful god and goddess parents abandoned him, creating a mission for him that's not even real; he believed he could do better. The young minor god became so engulfed in his own success that he lost sight of everything else. He forgot about what his parents had asked him to do, and used his power of creation to make a living for himself. Little did he know, he was slowly killing the forgotten goddess that lay right beneath his claws.
