Sam was born to some decent family out in Arcane, thus allowing him the time and money to get up to various research projects and higher end schooling. He was also greatly gifted in various magical areas, with a tutor among the best in the region. This is likely where things went wrong. Safety from problems means sometimes you don’t think through the consequences of your actions, and Sam met those face first and all at once. He got to think this over when his parts were basically placed in a jar and…well he doesn’t want to repeat that portion of his life, even verbally. Point is he barely survived on his own magic until his childhood friend Alice bailed him out. This is a debt he knows he cannot repay, especially considering what it cost her to do so. That she will tell him she doesn't mind doesn’t really soothe the thought, but he knows she means it. The Cities and Team HHA fixed him up, but ‘fixed’ is a difficult term. ‘Fixed’ generally means that you’re back to where you started- all better. Sam is well...he kind of looks like a zombie, bandages wrapping the parts still decayed and growing back. He’s rather weak physically and though he’s getting stronger he vastly prefers talking and interacting by manifesting as eyes. He now acts as a communication/radio device for most of the clan, thanks to some items they carry (protected by a shield of metal- please don’t open the highly Arcane radio receivers for your sake) allowing him to manifest as large pink eyes, and he’s happy to do so for the most part. He likes looking after people, even if they can be very tiring. Samuel is kind, more focused on people since his ‘accident’, and still curious about the world around him. He has a rather rational and scientific mind, which he tries to leverage against the more brash ones of Can Town, and very specifically against West. ▬▬ ADDITIONAL ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

-Has taken to acting as a counselor/mediator once he realized all the dang personal problems people around here seem to hide. How did this many paranoid people gather in- actually yeah that makes sense. -Much like Sefka he tends to view himself as useless due to his weak physical nature despite how dang useful he actually is. -Gets into occasional spats with West and only gets annoyed because he knows West views this as entertainment rather than working on himself at all. No Sam will not let this go, so maybe it's really entertainment for the both of them -Sam will never admit this. West would smirk- like the jerkhole he is
