An old legend even in his former clan- the cat that comes back. Ink has died many times but he always returns. Even he doesn’t not fully understand why, but some part of him recognises that as long as Nimue lives, so will he. He’ll have different eyes, different genes but he is always recognisable- blackened wings and skin pale, so pale it looks somewhere between dead and slightly glowing. He’s always the same age. It's not quite right to call him undead, but neither is it right to call him just plain alive. ‘Undying’ isn’t right either as he’s been buried more than once or twice. Exact terminology regarding Ink is difficult at any rate, and most just say shrug and say ‘necromancer’ as though that fully explains it. Ink wishes he could harness whatever brings him back and use it on others, but he’s made that mistake before. True resurrection is a fool’s errand and only ends in more pain. He's skilled in his art (he'd better be after all this time, he'd say) but he knows his limits and doesn't often seek to push them. He can absolutely raise the dead into mindless zombies, just in case you were wondering, but mostly he operates the city's tertiary line of defense and information gathering known as houndskulls. If you see a random dog skull sitting on the street or in a house know that it can spring back to life the instant Ink comes walking by. ▬▬ ADDITIONAL ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

-As he's an old Shielder, he's actually pretty nice and understanding. Of course he's somewhat detached, dying several times will do that to you -Doesn't see a problem with raising the dead and can sense bodies available for zombie style resurrection -Doesn't mind Vice and in fact kind of admires his tenacity despite all that's come at him. -Can deal necrotic damage to the living. Doesn't work that well on the undead but whatever. There's plenty else around here that can deal with that. -Can be a massive troll when he feels like it. It's mostly out of fun, as he knows pretty much everyone's secrets and he's too tired to care.
