♦ Alchemy was not a process to be trifled with, and those who had ever mistakenly interrupted Nightshade during his work were made very well aware of this. Having always harbored a sometimes particularly dark interest in all things strange and morbid, he did not like having others around and therefore running the risk of somehow ruining his vast collection. (Which, naturally, had many bones of defeated Coliseum monsters, familiars that had since passed on, and some… unidentified ones, as well.)

♦ Despite his reserved and outright mysterious nature, however, the purple-toned coatl of Lightning Flight descent was always quite fond of his fraternal twin, a chatty scientist by the name of Callisto. They often butted heads of course, not surprising due to the fact that they were complete and polar opposites, but at the end of the day, Nightshade loved his sister forever and always.
