Hanyr is a son of Candr and Zahira of Clan Wicked Wings of The Observatory. Having two parents with strong, spiritual connections to nature, it didn't surprise anyone when Hanyr too, shared that trait. Except, instead of it being plant based, his is to a specific time of day: the dawn.

Until his birth, many of his home clan didn't realize that a lot happened during that time frame. That, while many dragons and beast clans are still asleep, other beings are not, and weird spiritual beings and rifts in time and space can try to escape through Sornieth. Hanyr is sensitive to it, and vows to protect both sides of potential conflict from the other; hence, his protection of that time of day.

His job is hard, but knows how important it is to make sure dragonkind can wake up to see another day.
