Bluelipped Thresh
Cloudy Feathered Wings
After they determined that she was a bad omen because of her sickly coloring, Irene's clan forced her from her home in the Southern Icefield when she was a hatchling only a few days old. Through a series of circumstances and pure luck, the weary dragonet eventually made it to the mainland, traveling with shaky steps until at last she reached the Viridian Labyrinth. By this point she was on the verge of death, and it was only the skill and dedication of the clan Healer, Laquetta, that saved her.

A couple of months passed, and though Irene had gained a permanent home in the clan for as long as she wished, she still didn't necessarily feel a part of it. Though the other Coatls claimed she was absolutely fine, she saw their uneasiness and hesitance around her, the way one might tiptoe around one with a disability.

This changed when a new dragon joined the clan. He was a Wildclaw, and the first of his species to become a member of the Clan of the Flowering Glen. Irene was fascinated with his colors, which were much like hers, but kept her distance. She feared judgement, despite their similarities. She needn't have worried, for this was not to be the case. Alvardo, as he was called, took quite a liking to the reclusive female, gently coaxing and encouraging her to see herself just as he saw her--capable, kind, and worthy of love and acceptance. While she is still shy, she smiles more often now, and to this day she feels there is no one else who understands her better.
