Head Representative of the Earth Flight

Between the disasters erupting across Sornieth and the flights that oppose them working frantically at all hours of day and night, it’s been a chaotic day. Despite all that’s going on around you, though, your attention is drawn by something far more subtle. The ground before you appears to be… bubbling.

Moments after you first notice the phenomenon, the earth melts into itself, a ball of clay separating from the ground and then shaping itself into the rough form of a tiny female snapper. The clay-snapper turns to you, blinking once with eerily pupilless eyes, then gives you a subtle nod. It opens its mouth to speak, and you’re surprised to hear the voice of a full-bodied dragon emerge from its tiny lips, rather than the chirping or peeping you might have expected.

“Friend,” it addresses you warmly, a smile written plainly across its face, even rough and undetailed as it is. “I’m afraid that with the relief efforts under way, I could not be physically present to thank you, so this half-measure will have to suffice until this is all over and we can hopefully sit down for tea. I’ve received your generous donations of supplies, and wanted to extend my personal gratitude to you. We in Earth are small in number, and I was hardly expecting much support because of it, but you surprised me in the best way possible. Thanks to your aid, we have enough food and equipment to continue our work in trying to restore Sornieth to a more peaceful state, without having to worry about trying to simultaneously gather supplies. When Sornieth comes through to the other side of this, I’d like to sit down with you and thank you personally with the best cup of tea you’ll ever have, full tea ceremony and all. For now, though, I need to get back to work. I wish you the best, and hope you’re staying safe in these difficult times. You have my gratitude, and my best wishes. Farewell.”

With that, the golem slumps to the ground and loses its form, leaving you with promises for the future as well as some ordinary-looking clay.

After Vixen's time as a general, they remembered back on that promise of a tea and decided to visit Pumpkin's secluded lair.
Over one of the finest cups of tea Pumpkin had ever tasted, they offered Vixen a place to call their home and a position as the official Representative of the Earth Flight to the clan. Vixen happily agreed.
