General Rules & Policies

This raffle will run from January 26[sup]th[/sup] through the end of March 3[sup]rd[/sup]. (Specifically, this ends during rollover between the 3[sup]rd[/sup] and 4[sup]th[/sup]) Here's a handy countdown clock. :o

There is no limit to how many tickets a person can purchase.

All items must be sent via PM or one-way crossroads deliveries. Any two-ways crossroads will be declined, as will any items sent via 1t personal auctions. PMs are slightly preferred over crossroads deliveries, since the items are sent immediately and there’s no chance of your hoard changing between the time you send and the time I accept (which causes an error that doesn’t allow me to accept.)

This raffle consists of two kinds of tickets -- normal tickets, which may be purchased as usual through currency, items, and dragons, and Elemental tickets, which are earned by purchasing large amounts of normal tickets. More on this in the elemental details below.

Along with purchased prizes (prices below) there are ways to earn free tickets through bumping daily and/or using the banner in your signature. Details on that in the bottom of this post. (Free tickets are not eligible for bonus/elemental tickets.)

Normal raffle prizes are limited to one per user. Elemental raffle prizes are limited to 1 per type per user. (Technically the most prizes a person could win is 14 if they won every flight leader, a riches prize, an all-flight prize, and a main prize, but this is incredibly unlikely.)

Tickets may be tracked individually on the Ticket Calculator/Personal Tracker spreadsheet listed below, or on the master sheet. I strongly recommend the personal tracker though. [s]I put a lot of work into that.[/s]
Elemental/Bonus Raffle Rules & Policies

For every 50 normal tickets you purchase in a single ticket order, you earn 1 elemental ticket. These tickets must be purchased at once -- buying 25 tickets today and 25 tickets tomorrow will not earn you a bonus ticket. Free tickets do not count towards bonus tickets.

Elemental tickets are used for their own mini-raffles. There are twelve mini-raffles, with the prizes listed in a post here, but the tl;dr is that each flight has a mini-raffle for its flight representative/General (see the lore event for more details!), or you may enter towards a pool of “riches” prizes if dragons do not interest you.

When you earn an elemental ticket, please tell me what you would like to have your elemental ticket assigned to. If you earn multiple tickets, you may spend them on multiple categories. (e.g. if you earn 12 tickets, you could choose to put one in each category, half in Shadow and half in Plague, etc.)

The first time you assign a ticket to a flight, you will receive a PM from that flight’s leader (technically from me, but written as that flight leader), thanking you for your assistance. If you wish not to receive these PMs, please let me know so that I can make a note of that. ‘Riches’ tickets receive no PMs, as they have no flight leader. You will only receive a PM from each leader once. These PMs may be slightly delayed from the time of sending, depending on how swamped I get.
Ticket Calculator/Personal Tracker
For your convenience, I've created a Calculator spreadsheet where you can input how many of each thing you're sending if you wish to know how many tickets you'll earn in advance. (I will also be calculating on my end so this is not required, but saves you from having to wait to ask me, "Hey, I have these things, how many tickets will I earn?")

To use this, make a copy and enter the number of things you're sending into each box. If you try to modify the wrong cells, a warning will pop up (I recommend hitting 'Cancel' to cancel your changes unless you really know what you're doing with spreadsheets).
That sheet also includes an optional tracker to keep track of your tickets, badges, and PMed letters. Badges and Letters are hidden by default, but will become visible if you select 'Yes.' A visual display of all the badges you've collected can be found on the last tab, for those who want to see everything in one place.

The first set of badges (created by shroudrat!) is specific to this raffle, and may not be earned in any other way. Once this raffle is over, they're done. If you are using the Ticket Calculator/Tracker, it will keep track of and provide code for the badges you have earned!

This is the Creativity Badge. To earn this badge, share a piece of creative content you've made showcasing something to do with the lore in the Lore Thread. This could be a story of your dragons helping fight disasters or it could be a picture of a flight leader, or a number of other things. Art, writing, sculpting, composing, perler beads, -- as long as it's creative, it counts.
Reminder: Please post creative content in the lore thread, as it is intended to be all about the lore of this event.

The second set of badges (created by Krastei) available to this raffle is not exclusive to the raffle, and have been earnable through discounted egg sales in the past. I am not sure when I will be opening that thread again, if ever, though, so I'm also offering them through this thread. These badges may come back for other threads in the future, though I make no guarantees one way or the other.
These still count for full tickets for both the main and bonus raffles, but also earn you a neat badge as a free bonus!

For each day that you bump this thread[sup]*[/sup], you earn 1 ticket. If you also have the banner below fully visible in your signature, you earn an extra ticket per day. In this way, you can earn two free tickets per day, up to a total of 76 tickets if you bump this thread with the banner in your signature every single day for the duration of the raffle. (Must bump for signature to count -- I'm not going to ask the person helping me track this to check every user's signature every day.)
[sup]*[/sup] You must SAY bump somewhere in your post for it to count, to prevent confusion over what does and does not count as a bump. This can be at the beginning, middle, end, whatever. As long as you say bump so it can be searched for, that counts.
Free tickets are not eligible for bonus/elemental tickets, and can not be combined with existing orders. Free tickets will be added in to the main raffle pool when the raffle concludes, so your tracked tickets will not count free tickets until the raffle ends.
There may be a slight delay some days in bump tickets being counted, however, as long as you have bumped between 00:30 and 23:59 that day, it will count toward that day.
Also, as a reminder, as long as you have posted once in the thread (bumps count), you may claim the free/posting badge from the Badges post!
