Empurios and Celeste serve the clan as a cunning pair of spies and assassins, however, no one in the clan knows that this is their role except for Minstri, Sovri, and Peryite. The two generally report to and receive orders from Peryite, though sometimes they work directly for the king or queen.

Their official role is of diplomat and messengers, and to this end, they often aid Makhae in her duties or spend their time as apparently spoiled denizens of the Scarwind Keep. They maintain their shadowed skills in secret, and Kulm has seen them from time to time and therefore knows they are more capable than mere diplomats, although she does not fully understand their roles.
