Aelphix, a fighter with no magic.

Aelphix was a troublemaker right out of the egg. Found as a fire egg in the middle of light territory and hatched in Avignon, he didn't really have a real set of parents to discipline him. He ran around the town causing trouble. The local elder, simply named Healer, made sure the young mirror always had a place to sleep and food to eat.

As he grew up, Aelphix found his place in the guard under the pearlcatcher from the Alliance. He was a bit of an outlier, as a lot of the other guards in Avignon had magic to help them fight. This mirror, however, couldn't produce even the smallest spark of fire magic, and so relied on his claws and jaws to do the job.

Now one of the oldest members of the guard, he's still as rowdy as ever but has become a sort of leader for organizing the other fighters in town into a militia that's independent of the Alliance.

He's on good terms with most everyone, but has his suspicions about Chrysophylax's magic.
