Biography

Pokemon Fandragon
Lonely Ghost,
Tatters the Mimikyu, Female Fae, Shadow Flight?

Some dragons seem to be connected to multiple universes, possibly having an alternative version of themselves out there. Dr. Galvan and her scientists hope that by studying these dragons they've started calling doubleworlders, they can learn more about what’s beyond their own world.

Laboratory Logs:

-When our trackers identified a doubleworlder nearby, the last thing we expected when we went towards it was an abandoned building.
-Along the way, we had encountered a merchant who realized where we were going and urged us not to go, telling us there was a dangerous beast inside.
-We insisted we were fine and continued going on.
-Little did we know that the “beast” would be our doubleworlder.
-When we entered the building, which we quickly realized was an old store, the doors slammed behind us.
-We then spotted what appeared to be a tiny yellow fae dragon, scampering out of sight.
-I called out to the fae, trying to convince her to come out. We only wanted to talk, I said. We meant no harm.
-The fae then stepped out of her hiding place. She approached us, but her movements were... uncanny. Ragdoll-like.
-Their neck bent a bit too far backwards. Their feet did not walk on the ground so much as slide awkwardly across it.
-Then I suddenly saw the fae, or, rather, creature, for what she was.
-The creature was simply wearing a fae costume.
-A poorly made one, too. How was I convinced the creature was actually a real dragon?
-“Leave... now!” the creature had said. When I asked why, she had responded, “Me... monster!” before shadowy claws formed from underneath the costume and started lashing out at us.
-We ran away, the door swinging open for us.
-How kind.
-When the scientists had caught their breath, I asked who was willing to go back. Unsurprisingly, I was the only one who was.

-I packed a few important supplies for my next encounter with the creature:
—Scanners of all sorts that would hopefully help me identify what the creature was
—A baseball bat for self defense
—Gummy worms in case I got snacky

-Like last time, the door slammed shut when I entered the abandoned mart and the creature demanded I leave.
-Before she could continue, I pulled up a scanner, meant to identify otherworldly beasts, and turned it on.
-The scanner blinked on, but it didn’t register the creature as anything extraplanar.
-The creature watched, probably confused, as I dumped everything out of my backpack, turning on scanner after scanner.
-None worked until I turned on the one for spirits. The creature registered.
-I yelled in excitement, “A ghost! You’re a ghost!”
-“...Yeah?” the creature said. “You... could... have... asked.”
-...Oh.
-I can’t believe I embarrassed myself in front of the first ghost I ever met.
-Picking up the multitude of scanners cluttering the floor, I started packing up my things, when the ghost asked “Food?”
-I realized she was pointing at my gummy worms.
-For a moment, I considered lying and telling the ghost that they weren’t actually food just so I could have all the gummy worms to myself, but my desire to befriend this ghost overrided my selfish desire to hoard my candy to myself.
-I opened the gummy worm bag and held it open for the ghost.
-The ghost grabbed a large handful and dragged them under her costume. I grabbed a few worms and then left the rest for the ghost, who eagerly grabbed the rest of it.
-The ten seconds of my life spent eating gummy worms with a ghost is probably the greatest moment of my life.

-I left afterwards, promising to bring more candy. I was supposed to ask the usual questions, but I wanted to take it slow; the ghost was still a bit uneasy around me.
-My researcher team were very happy to see me alive, to which I laughed in their faces and said, “You guys told me bringing gummy worms everywhere was a waste of space! Look at me now!”
-They were very confused so I had to explain the whole story to them.
