Xiujian

An observant and scholarly dragon, Xiujian hatched with wise eyes and made not a sound, even as he emerged from his egg. Born mute, the young dragon had to become fluent in body language and writing, which was never pursued by anyone in his clan before him. Because of this, both Xiujian and his sister became interested in literature --to the disappointment of their parents, who wanted to raise battle ready and scrappy children. And while Jambu was interested in fantasy, Xiujian -- who was ever curious about the world around him -- loves reading about the history of the first 3 Ages, studying the complex maps and scientific literature created by Sornieth explorers. In his pursuit of knowledge, he often goes searching for books all across the Sea of a Thousand Currents, to bring back knowledge to the clan. He has become the unofficial librarian of the Clan of the Calcareous Cove, adding to and organizing their humble selection of scrolls, tomes and other literary works though his work goes unappreciated by most. Despite his infatuation with learning he always tries to put his friends and family first, and is always a silent and steadfast supporter to those who needs him.
