______ Prince Dysterio Calyx is the second son and child, but only blood child, of the House Calyx Founders Phantasos and Cythusa. He is very close to his older, adopted brother King Chrysalis, and found love in the intelligent, eloquent, elegant Wysteria. They share three children, Princes Cythasos and Stessian--the former named after Dysterio's parents, the House Founders, and the latter named after the couple themselves--and Princess Dyria, their only daughter, and the only female heir to House Calyx. Prince Chrysalis and Princess Dunyasha Calyx, the Heirs to House Calyx. Dysterio is a kind, fun, humoros soul who loves to explore the realm and experience all the joys that life has to offer. Although he was pampered in his youth by his parents, he is a relatively well grounded individual, a quality that his wife Wysteria, who does not hail from such a grandiose background, appreciates in him.
______ Dysterio often misses the days before the Calyx-Hollyhock clashes, as he was very close to his Hollyhock counterparts. While he held King Artume in high regard and respect, he got along more with Grand Prince Liseran, an artistic character of similar disposition. Dysterio still fondly remembers all their weddings, the growth of all their families alongside one another, and the harmony that accompanied each of their milestones... but that was a different time, and things have irrevocably changed.
______ Dysterio does not know if the Hollyhocks, too, remember their shared past with as much fondness. While he's sure they do deep down, or perhaps hopes so instead, it's undeniable that Dysterio and his family are public enemies #1 for the Hollyhocks. After all, his only daughter Dyria--who was already under much scrutiny and quiet scorn from his parents, especially Cythusa--broke off the much-anticipated clan union that would have been ushered through her marriage to the House Hollyhock heir. This act almost sparked a war between the clans, and Dyria's marriage of her choice, to someone without a noble background, infuriated the Hollyhocks and is yet to be forgotten. While Dysterio does not view or treat his daughter differently amid all this, he is silently pained by all the drama that erupted by his daughter--the only House Calyx daughter--following her heart. After all, doing so helps make the world a better place and life more enjoyable--choosing logic or tradition over the pangs of the heart is sure to cause more misery instead.

______ The Sylvestris Clan continued to flourish after the agreement forged between the Hollyhocks and Calyxs. Casalain and Candrima Hollyhock, the Viceroys of House Hollyhock, are in charge of finances and how, when, and where to spend the clan money, whereas Cythusa and Phantasos, the Viceroys of House Calyx, decide what to do with the clan and how to manage and improve it.
