______ Phantasos 'Nox' Calyx used to live in the Mighty Lair of the Mirrorlight Promenade, but came to the Sylvestris Clan on his friend Casalain Hollyhocks' request. Casalain and his wife, Candrima, were exalted and they needed someone to take over the clan. Casalain chose his friend, Phantasos, but unbeknownst to him, Candrima also chose someone. She asked her childhood friend Cythusa to help.
______ Initially, Phantasos was miffed that he traveled all the way from Sunbeam Ruins to The Shifting Expanse when really didn't have to, but he eventually warmed up to Cythusa. In fact, the two even ended up getting married. Phantasos finds his old rivalry with his wife hilarious.
______ Later on, the Hollyhocks returned to the Sylvestrin Clan. Phantasos and Cythusa were happy their friends came back, but worried that they'd have to leave. Luckily, they didn't. The Hollyhocks and Calyxes agreed to co-run the clan and split up the responsibilities between the Houses. The two Houses peacefully co-exist.

______ After the Calyxes handed the throne to King Chrysalis and the Hollyhocks crowned King Artume as their successor, the Legendary Founders ascended from the heartland.
______ The exact meaning of this ascension is debated in the various surrounding mythos, and all possible interpretations are accepted. The most common beliefs are that these legendary house founders have since departed the lands of Sornieth for good, or that their spirits watch over the clan, or that they observe while residing in the circling, enclosing mountains, a far physical distance from the heart of the Houses but still close in spirit.
______ Regardless of the truth, one thing is certain: while the House Founders are pleased with their choice in successors, they are most deeply disappointed by the bitter strife and tense enmity that slashed the clan in two, when the clan was founded through a deep friendship.
