Biography

Oh! Hello there traveler! Welcome, you're in my home now! You seem to have lost your way. Oh dear. That just won't do. Why don't you come closer? I'm sure I can help you! Yes, yes that's it. Oh, did you know that the nearest village is over ten miles away? What a fun little fact, eh? No one to hear you scream :)
-
Faris pads into her lair, a small cave hidden in a desert bluff. She smiles, as she has claimed her newest victim. Her smile stretches creepily as she turns to her bonepicker, Carrion.
"Once I take the gold you can have it" she said sweetly, searching her victim and pocketing any gold or jewelry on them before leaving them to her bonepicker. "Ah, such a pity" she softly smiled, placing the gold and Jewlery in a pile of countless more treasure. "So many lost travelers these days, whatever will we do?" Her teeth flashed as she grinned, climbing atop her pile of gold, tail curling around her claws. She held a coin between two talons and studied it greedily. "Hmmm, it sure does pay to be The Viper"
-
Faris has the patterning of a snake, as she should. She has a large curling smile and piercing red eyes, the only suggestion that something is amiss about her. She lives in a cave in the desert with her familiar, a bonepicker named Carrion. If ever there is a traveler lost in the desert who wanders by her cave, she deceives them into entering her lair, where she kills them and takes their gold before leaving them for her bonepicker. She is called The Viper because of her predatory deceit, and fables are told about her in the surrounding towns. Perhaps it is the isolation which as turned her mad, or perhaps she has always been this way. What she needs the gold for, nobody knows, she simply seems to enjoy hoarding it. If you ever come across a seemingly nice dragon in the desert, don't go wherever they try to lead you, as it may be The Viper, and you may be her next victim.
-
A young Coatl was wandering through the desert with his familiar, a Chimera. He seemed to have an adventurous air about him. His name was Amatsu, and he loved to explore. He padded through the sand, not minding the hot sand beneath his talons. After what seemed like miles of rolling sand dunes and scorching sun, Amatsu saw a figure ahead, who had seemingly appeared out of nowhere. She approached him with an almost too wide smile.
"Oh! Hello there traveler!" She said, stepping close to him with a fanged grin. "You seem hot and tired, care to head into my cave for a drink?" She eyed his Chimera warily, but didn't drop her smile. Amatsu considered carefully. He hadn't stopped for long in the town, but he swore he had heard something about a dragon named "The Viper" who ambushed and killed dragons in the desert. Writing this off as a tall tale, he smiled and nodded.
"That would be great actually, thank you!" His chimera lashed his tail, seemingly agitated, but followed Amatsu as Faris led them into her cave.
"Yes, that's it, come on in!" Amatsu entered her cave and immediately regret his decision. He saw a large pile of treasure in the back of the cave, and a bonepicker nearby, eyeing him hungrily. It looked to be surrounded by something white, and Amatsu realized with a jolt that they were bones. He turned from this horrific sight to see Faris before him, talons outstretched, leaping for his throat. He dodged quickly, Faris slamming into the wall behind him. She whipped around with a cackle.
"Ah! It wants to play!" His chimera leaped to his aid, but the bonepicker slammed into it with a shriek, and the two locked into battle, talons flashing and sand spraying. Faris leaped at Amatsu again, slamming him to the ground, her talons digging into his shoulders. She lunged to bite his throat but he rolled out from under her with a yell. He went to exit the cave but the fighting beasts blocked him. He felt blinding pain flash through his side and he screeched, whipping around as Faris's talons slashed through his ribs. The familiars behind them roared while they fought, and Amatsu gasped in pain, trying desperately to get away. Faris lunged for his neck again and his talons slashed out, tearing across her face. She screeched in pain and fury as he scrambled away once more, with nowhere to go. She lunged blindly towards him, her talons shredding his wings. He cried out in pain and tore away from her talons, running once more for the cave mouth. His chimera threw the bonepicker to the wall and Amatsu saw his chance, dashing past them as fast as he could. His chimera ran after him with a roar, the bonepicker and Faris not far behind. Amatsu ran blindly, hindered by the wound in his side and not being able to fly away due to his shredded wings. His Chimera came to his aid as the bonepicker let out a blood curdling screech behind them. The familiar ducked down and allowed him to pull himself onto his back, their hunters close behind. The chimera let out a roar as he sped up, soon gaining speed and thus putting distance between them and their would be killers. Faris let out a furious roar that echoed in Amatsu's ears as he clung to his Chimeras back and they fled the clutches of The Viper.
