AKATORA
|| Gladebeast ||

Akatora was borne among the first five descendent Gladebeasts, when the GladeKeeper created the variant of Wildclaws in response to the new roaming Emperor. While her siblings had moved to serve the GladeKeeper, she stayed with her mother and was taught how to fight and what her job was for protecting the forests of the Viridian Labyrinth. She spent a fair amount of time training and studying, before she met another Gladebeast besides her mother. This one came from another clan and the pair discussed thir own learnings, happy to see another of their species. With Sibal alongside her, the pair parted ways from their parent clans and traveled through the Labyrinth to start their own.

They settled among the convergence of different biomes near the Pox Consulate, a great field housing their own resting and residing places. For the first while, it was just the two of them, before more Wildclaws came to ask to join them in their territory. The first were 3 younger dragons all coloured in hues of green, and they were welcomed, learning to fight alongside the GladeBeasts even if not as strong. Next a tree dragon came, her bark-like scales blending with the environment, leading a band of displaced dragons of many species, and they were allowed to settle amongst the roots of the Behemoth that intertwined with the other trees, the dragons making dens out of them and the GreatRoot Dens of the territory were established.

Akatora had easily settled into her role as a protector of her own clan now, deciding to name it Outside of Eden. She was happy and content with the growing numbers, more dragons coming to join each day. A quintet of brightly coloured dragons came to her and Sibal, and introudced themselves as the SunKeepers. While not all of them were Light Dragons, or even worshipped the Lightweaver, they believed the Sun was the great source that granted the Gladekeeper her powers of life, and swore to protect Sorneith and the sun against the return of The Shade. Warriors were always welcome so the pair of Gladebeasts accepted them joining, and the two factions of the Nature Guard and the Sunkeepers were established.

Fighting power was great, but it would mean little without knowledge, and as Akatora pondered how to gain this, especially among other flights or clans, she had the idea of creating spies, thus the Monocrows were born. Four elite Wildclaw Spies from different academies joined together at her request, and worked as the intel flow for Outside of Eden. It was a good thing too, as Akatora recieved word of something happening in the Pox Consulate even after it had been supposedly vacated from the events of the Consulates treaty breaking. Devout Plague dragons were amassing there despite Nature mages' best efforts to repair the scarred and rotting land, and there was word of a great terror lurking below the Consulate. While her original duty was to protect from the Emperor, it was also to protect The Viridian Labyrinth and its inhabitants a a whole, and something such as a incredibly powerful Plague-driven terror was right up there. She began amassing her clanmates as the operation to figure out what this Terror was and stop it began.
