By nature, Sinew is not a fighter. He is a philosopher and a thinker, full to the brim with theoretical and practical knowledge of the world and the cultures that live on it. He studies anything he can get a hold of, no matter the topic. He feels joy learning something new, a pleasure most dragons in this lair do not share with him, or even pretend to understand. His thirst to learn got him into serious trouble in several different clans prior to his settlement in his lair. Clans with secrets and things to hide found him snooping in places they never wanted anyone to snoop. Some clans simply ran him out, but there are a few who have sent assassins after him. The information he discovered could possibly destroy those clans, though he does not care to destroy any clans. They do not see it that way, anyone walking around with that kind of information is too big of a risk. However, Sinew was lucky enough to find a sort of sanctuary with this clan. Not exactly sanctuary in the sense that the clan accepted him with the understanding they would need to protect him, but he found a home amongst these dragons, and anyone attempting to infiltrate the territory, regardless of purpose, would be destroyed. Now that he is here and settled, Sinew continues to search for more knowledge. This clan does not typically have secrets, these dragons more straightforward in their actions and more than wiling to talk about themselves and their sordid histories endlessly. He is happy to teach those who do not know, sharing his love of learning with those who will learn. He does not, and cannot, teach anyone everything he knows, so he typically shares the simpler concepts, basics of mathematics or the cultures of the other flights or tricks in hunting and camouflage. His goal is not to just share information, but to inspire the desire to learn in other dragons. Most of the dragons in this lair could care less. It disappoints Sinew that not everyone shares his enthusiasm, but he is just glad no one has tried to kill him yet, and in fact several of them have actively saved his life. He does have the respect of several pickier dragons, Dewius the librarian included. Sinew is one of the few dragons that have permission to access Dewius' collection.
