Lyra has a quiet confidence to her that has taken her far in life. She was never much of a hothead, never likely to blow up or lose her temper. Instead Lyra was a watchful child with big eyes and a vivid imagination, staying still for hours so that she could watch the wildlife without disturbing them.

Lyra grew up into a quiet and well-mannered dragon with a gentle smile and love of mysteries and wildernesses. She works as a waitress to pay the bills but her real passion is nature, and she takes as many long and meandering walks as she can. She's been accused of having her head in the clouds by more than one would-be paramour, and there is some truth in that. While Lyra has a smile and and ear for just about anyone, she tends to prefer her own company to that of others when she can get it.

While she likes her own company best, Lyra really is a very friendly dragon. She enjoys her work, even if it is a means to an end. She has fun seeing the variety of people and everyone who knows her knows to be polite, because while she tends to be mild-mannered and patient she also does not suffer fools lightly.

Friend

Lyra met the creature that is dubbed 'Trinket' when she was scarcely more than a hatchling and she was lost. Instead of being frightened of the strange creature, Lyra continued to come back and spend time with him. She still does so as an adult - though she rarely speaks to him she finds some comfort in his company and lack of expectations. Trinket never comes to her work, so Lyra finds her relationship with Trinket to be a good separation of her work and private life.

Coworker

Ingrid is one of Lyra's good friends from work. Lyra enjoys gently teasing the other, who tends to be much more formal and regal than Lyra herself. Ingrid and Lyra frequently trade shifts so that they can follow their various individual hobbies. Ingrid isn't particularly fond of the outdoors, but understands that Lyra sometimes needs a nature break. Lyra deeply appreciates Ingrid as a friend even though they aren't very similar dragons, it's the differences that make their friendship work.

Friend

Lyra is a firm believer of being polite, kind, and respectful to all of her coworkers at the inn. This is deeply appreciated by Alani, who does maintenance for the Inn. Alani often drops by when Lyra is working to chat and share news about what is going on with each other and the Inn itself. Alani has occasionally gone hiking with Lyra despite it not particularly being her thing, and Lyra does appreciate the effort. It's nice to hang out outside of work.
