Veil

Veil has been found by a traveller who couldn't bring themselves to let him fend for him. He hatched during the journey and the traveller took care of him, but he eventually found Whistlebud and [Kendo] on an expedition. He proposed to give them the kid because they didn't want to have him injured, and they weren't such a great caretaker anyway. He has been brought to the clan as the second plague skydancer, Veridian, Whistlebud and [Kendo] helped raise him and Everwish even though they occasionally got nauseous. The three parents tried to get Aetheris to raise him too, since she was from the same plane and same race, but she was herself scared of making mistake and hurting the child, so she declined.

Everwish has been with him almost as soon as he got into the clan, he was wary at first, but quickly warmed up to the odd, loud child. They became best friends quickly and did many mischief at the exasperation of Whistlebud. They reached teenhood and got their distinct style, interests, hobby and personalities.



Veil is a lively dragon, just like Everwish, they both give the calm clan something to laugh or worry about. He's more of a performer, he sings very well and wants everybody to know that fact. Even though he is an attention seeker, the effort of three kind-hearted caretaker bore fruit and he is not the type to feel superior compared to another, but unlike Veridian, he won't let himself get trampled over by another ill-intentionned dragons.

One day, after feeling confident and prepared enough (which the older members think he is not, but they couldn't really change his mind), he travels to the plague lands for a short amount of time, just to get back to "his roots" as Aetheris put it. After feeling utterly disgusted by the place but somehow felt in his element, he stumbles upon Raine.
