He didn't know how or why, but when the Gaolers were released the magic brought with them reacted deep in his core. From a Guardian graced with the trails of the stars to the plain blue furs of a Gaoler. His Charge has changed, from the Head Astronomer Oidhche to the glorious Arunika, his mate.

He had felt the stars surface once more, leaving their paths across his new pelt. An itch across his hide bore shards of gems, not unlike those displaying crystalhide or gembond. The shards along his flanks glowed with the rays of rising suns, and completed his transformation.
