The Fae Changeling
Once a mortal, I wandered the earth
A simple life, filled with love and mirth
But one day, I stumbled upon the Fae
And my world changed in every way

I was taken against my will
Brought before their queen with icy chill
She offered me a transformation
But it came with a steep damnation

My lover's life was the cost
And I was forced to agree, no matter the cost
Transformed into a creature of the Fae
But my heart was shattered in disarray

My powers grew beyond all reason
I became a force of nature, full of treason
For every year that passed me by
I lost another love, and I knew why

For the Fae queen had cursed me so
To forever wander the earth below
A slave to my newfound power
My heart broken, hour by hour

I yearn for a love that will last
But my curse holds me fast
For my powers send them away
And my sorrow only grows day by day

So heed my warning, mortals all
Do not seek out the Fae's call
For they will take your love away
And leave you in an endless fray.

Vainetta is pretty, in the way that iced-over lakes are pretty. Cold, with a layer of life underneath and the risk of hidden danger. Delicate, but needle-sharp at the edges and strong enough to overwhelm you. She's stunning. I love how you chose to dress her in such pale colours over her multi-hued genes, which gives her the air of having something to hide. Bravo!
