It's all too easy to spot Tirion. After all, he is the white blight in the heat of summer, impossible to miss and colder than the coldest peak of the Southern Icefields.

Somehow, he's managed to get stranded away from home, where the heat is unbearable and the snows too far and few between. He can't remember how, not when all that fills his mind is the salty scent of the sea followed by a burst of smoke. It's too indistinct, easy enough to replicate anywhere in the world, and perhaps he doesn't want to remember. His mother used to say if he really tried to remember, nothing would really truly leave him, but this memory feels locked away for good.

If only he knew, though, because then maybe he would know the way home. Better yet, maybe he would know how to control his magic, how to keep the snowstorm from raging out of bounds. It slows sometimes, but never stops, surrounding him in a curtain of merciless white.

There must be some relief. Tirion simply doesn't know where to begin.
