Bishtos used to be just a normal student of her own element, Shadow, in the Two Towers Education Program for Skilled Students, until a particularly unstable fire magic conductor exploded during her experimental magic class and she, together with her fellow students, got blasted away in an eruption of magically charged fire. Waking up four moons later, badly burnt and without a sense of smell, the doctors told her that because she had been standing the closest to the crystals when the accident happened, the fire magic had seeped into her body and changed her inner elemental alignment from Shadow to Fire. She would have to undergo a rigid training program to help her control this new ability and stay in the Towers so that she could be properly monitored. Now years later, Bishtos is still fruitlessly trying to control the flames that keep erupting from her body at irregular times, while the scholars keep trying to find out new ways to help her.
