Jakku

Loyalty and Honor were two of the things his father tried to teach him when he was small, the lessons didn't stick in any way that would have made the other drake proud of his son. Jakku holds no loyalty to anyone except himself, 'himself is his true king' someone once told him and he would admit the truth behind the old fortune teller's claim. Jakku killed as easily as other dragon's breathed if that was what his contract required, diplomacy could only go so far after all and talking became so very dull when those being spoken too were arguing like spoiled hatchlings. his mother taught him diplomacy, his father was a warrior protecting his queen and much too busy to teach his son peaceful things and so Jakku learned from the clan's assassins and warrior's how to become one of the best. as a small hatchling many of the warriors in the clan were hesitant to allow so small a hatchling train with them, but the thieves and others of less savory nature had no such hesitation in teaching him everything they knew.
Jakku did eventually learn from the clan warriors, but by that time he was already fighting for the highest bidder on the Black market, a soldier without a war, he was lethal and he was efficient. when his clan found out he was one of the most lethal warriors they exiled him, not yet a full grown drake, with the excuse they did not tolerate wavering loyalties; it wasn't long after that he heard the whispers that he was the former queen's child, product of his father's unfailing love for a dragoness that exiled him many times. he didn't know if the rumors were true or if they were the yammering of dragons with a love of gossip and in the end it didn't matter, he left the clan feeling betrayed, all he had wanted was to make a place for himself in the clan.

Jakku found himself wandering in the black market where his... talents were more appreciated than in a clan where he had to follow the orders of another. he spent years as a blade for hire, he acted as guard or diplomat as need be without concern, once in awhile he would be hired for a different kind of job, assassinations or fighting in wars. he felt nothing even when a pretty face would come flirting, he would find interest in a dragoness and then she would turn out to be less kind than she pretended and he grew less patient. he eventually found a clan to stay in for awhile, a dragoness in the clan caught his eye and he courted her for awhile and grew very close to her, he kept her away from the less savory things he did for dear of one of his enemies finding and harming her. finding out she had betrayed him to one of the dragons that wanted him dead Jakku felt saddened, he put a blade through her chest and walked away as she bled out, leaving the clan.
Jakku became hardened against flirting and pretty faces, by the time he had gone to the black market he had a nasty reputation as a heartless mercenary and many dragons hired him as a guard or diplomat for whatever reasons they had, he never cared so long as they paid in advance. he traveled from clan to clan going where his next job required and eventually stopped and joined a clan he found along the way, he was a young drake and his youth lent him a excitable way that endeared him to many in the clan, he felt at home in the clan and it allowed him to find a place with them and keep his roles within the black market.

"Stop." The large Guardian Dragon said.

The fear was evident on her face as she looked at the smaller dragon. Smaller, yes, but much more dangerous. She had heard tales of Jakku. She had heard how he was both a soldier and a diplomat, yet never trustworthy. Except to a few and the Guardian didn't think that he would treat her as an exception.

"I don't want to cause you any harm." Jakku replied with a smile on his face.
