PERSONALITY

Kage is an extremely well organized and mannered dragon. It can be clear just from glancing at him that he is cultured in the art of nobility and the wealthy. Kage isn’t exactly aloof, but he isn’t the most relatable dragon either. He loves his lists and he loves gossip, so it isn’t surprising when you trace a rumor back to him.

ABOUT

History
Kage was raised by his parents who took pride in their magics. Born and raised in the Tsunami Flats, Kage never had a strong connection with his element. His sad attempts at shaping water usually ended in disaster and Kage was usually overlooked in favor of his much stronger sisters. This ignoring of him and his magic was preferred by Kage, giving him plenty of time to wander around. It was during his teenage years he met his idols, a pair of wealthy bankers, and Kage decided to give up on magic and instead turn towards a life of luxury.
Kage spied on the bankers as much as possible, following them to where they kept their hoard. He didn’t care to steal, he just wanted to see how they kept everything in order. Only getting caught once Kage was never deterred and eventually told his parents he wanted to be sent to some school in the Lanternlea Port. They agreed readily, glad to not have to focus on their wayward son.
Enrolled in his school, Kage learned everything he could, determined to know as much about trade goods as he could. He studied anything from math to science, science to history. This knowledge caused Kage to ace most of his tests, and he was well liked by most of his class. Somewhere along the way in school Kage had discovered his passion towards gossip. He became a very popular student and traded secrets and rumors as craft. Kage also graduated almost top of his class and soon set out to find a clan willing to hire him.
When Kage found the Sanctuary, its hoard was a mess. He convinced the current council of the now medium sized clan to let him fix it, and was soon appointed Treasurer. Kage loved keeping track of various clan goods and currency, all while being as social as possible. It’s thanks to Kage that it is easy to find anything within the hoard though due to Bram only a select few are allowed in.
Currently
Whenever Kage has finished double checking the hoard, he spends most of his time making friends. If not reporting to Malourne for updates on items within the hoard at least. He spends his time in the art of trading secrets and rumors with anyone who would listen. Kage enjoys the company of other Coatls the most, mainly Artemi and Eskame or his earth loving daughter. Kage also spends a large amount of time in Starmapped Silks as he enjoys talking with Umbra and shopping for apparel. A Golden Kitsune named Yutaka tends to grace Kage with its presence.
Despite Kage being one of the most social dragons in the Sanctuary, no dragon has caught his eye yet. He briefly took a liking to a passing traveler that led to Merideth hatching and to Alexa for Cloudrise to come into existence, but no dragon holds his heart. Kage loves his children but dislikes spending time in the earthen grasp they love.
