- - - ▢ The Beginning
Ariadne's early life wasn't the easy one she might lead others to believe. Where the dragoness of present day might give off an air of kindly royalty, always level-headed... At one point, she had been quite the nervous wreck. Struggling in her magic studies, unfocused, and without a goal... Perhaps she'd just been lucky to have a teacher who refused to give up on her. That...and meeting Arkhateon. A dragon she had stumbled upon when trying to train in isolation. Problems had persisted with her growth, but that day... She changed. For the better.

- - - - ▢ Above and Beyond
Her deep-seated need to help Arkhateon is what would launch her training beyond her peers. Succeeding in Fire magic in short time, and quickly working levels above what her peers could do. Eventually, this saw her graduate early from her training, then able for time to learn healing magic that aligned with Fire. It would be enough to halt Arkhateon's curse...but not remove it completely. Though by this point, both dragons were smitten with each other, unwilling to say goodbye and ready to make things work. And so, they eventually moved in together. Had their first nest of three, to much joy. Brought a third into their life, who left when things didn't pan out. (Ending on good terms, though.) Still, nothing brought them down. Content with their life; Arkhateon the cheerleader to his wife's great power.

- - - - ▢ Present Day
However, their short journey with a third meant that Ariadne sought to eventually bring another into their life. Arkhateon was far from disproving, encouraging her desire to find a partner that they could welcome into the family. It was during a solo trip to the picturesque Light region would she literally bump into a kindly Snapper...and in similar fashion to her first love, become smitten by his gentle tone and their shared drive for putting more kindness into the world. Arkhateon had not expected her home with two new husbands-to-be...and yet laughed with joy regardless, proud and elated with his own wife's successes. Though Ariadne has not always been able to see her husbands, she continues to keep in contact with them via letters and small gifts or trinkets to send with them. She keeps Arkhateon in the loop, as well as continues to work on a way to remove his curse.
