PERSONALITY

Lena is a steady, reliable dragon. If you need her help or her strength, she’s always willing to give it. Lena is faithful in her task to help others in her own way, and is willing to do whatever it takes to defend them. Her agreeable and charismatic nature makes her the perfect one to lead the Diversity Troupe. Her unfaltering ability to know where she is and how to get to somewhere helps.

ABOUT

History
Lena was born to a troop of wandering Snappers, and never knew her father properly. She wandered with her troop throughout Sornieth and learned the ancient paths that would help her in the future. Lena was popular among the other hatchlings of her age in the troop, as she tried to make friends and know everyone. Her skill at knowing when the others needed to stop and being able to convince her mother (the troop leader) to pause was loved by her peers. Lena grew into a well known and charismatic dragon, much of Sornieth seeking her help to resolve conflicts because of her abilities to calm conflict or convince others. Despite using her skills to help others, Lena felt unfulfilled. She didn’t have a troop purpose in life, and other than the feel of the ground as she traveled, not many hobbies. Lena left her troop in search of something, anything, that would give her a purpose.
The purpose Lena searched for was at the Sanctuary of Diversity. It was a small clan and didn’t travel much, but wanted to spread word of its existence and recruit others. Lena could help with this. She loved to travel, was well known, and great at convincing others. Lena loved the idea of recruiting others and helping find other dragons that felt out of place in their current homes, and agreed easily to become the Sanctuary’s Recruiter.
Currently
Lena travels Sornieth with her Diversity Troupe in search of others who would love the Sanctuary. She finds lost or abandoned eggs and hatchlings, adopts hatchlings in need of homes, and convinces dragons who need a place to join her. Lena then leads them all eventually back to the Sanctuary, where they choose to stay or continue traveling with Lena. It's their choice, though Lena is sad to see some of them go. Lena keeps track of everyone who has comes or goes from her troupe in an Aged Tome. She does have a few permanent members of her troupe who help her with her endeavors. Though not a dragon, one of her greatest friends is her familiar Kalano, a Glitterfreeze Ambassador that guides her troupe throughout the Southern Icefield’s dangerous mountain passes. Lena also acts as a guard for her troupe, her Snapper insomnia allowing her to keep an eye out at all times while her members rest. Her crushing jaws and strong tail make it easy to defend the troupe from most attackers, though more nimble attackers are taken out by the other Sentinels.
Lena has no close family, and any hatchlings she usually have leave. The one blood child that has stayed resides in the Sanctuary and prefers the company there. She has no particular inclination towards a permanent mate currently. Lena does consider many of the permanent members of her troupe as her children, her being closest to a young tundra named Shuraji.
