AUREATE PRINCE OF LIGHT
Washed ashore, a little golden hatchling left in famine squeaked and screeched, covered in all the stardust that was floating on the surface of the grand ocean. Some dragons took note of the noises coming from the shores, so they went to take a brief look at where the sound was coming from. They gathered around the poor hatchling, unsure what to do with it. Everyone steps aside as the oracle walks up to the hatchling to pick it up, "be the crown beware," she says, "for there is a golden child left behind in famine by a mother as heartless and cold, there is both light and dark lurking that may disrupt harmony between stars and moon. May the child never know where it came from, as catastrophic as can be, and chaos it will bring."

The golden-winged child was brought up to the monarchs Andromede and Kami. It was unclear what they were supposed to do with it. Andromede suggested they'd adopt the hatchling and raise it as their own. Ophiuchus, however, fears the hatchling. He knows where it came from, who his parents are. The child might give in to its dark force if it were ever to reunite with the biological mother, the Necromancer Queen Mephala.

Hope is still left. "There are not only shadows lurking, but also light within the darkness," Ophiuchus says. Aries, as Andromede named him, was son to the Reverent Lord of Light Samandriel. Aries will struggle eternally with the two opposing forces fighting each other within him, but Ophiuchus is determined to keep him at peace, train him to battle his inner urge to bring chaos. Despite all of this, it won't take much for Aries to turn; the day he does might end up worse than what Ophiuchus had ever anticipated.
