Bebop’s Story

Bebop shook out her wings and tried not to die.
This place was so warm, uncomfortable so compared to the icy wasteland she had grown up in. Razzle, her best friend, stood next to her. “Don’t worry! Maybe this Plague lair will be nice.
You never know what kind of dragons we might meet.” Bebop glanced at him sideways and made a ‘hmm’ noise deep in her throat. Secretly, she wasn’t so sure. She already disliked the heat, and the stench of decay and rot made things so much worse.
The only reason she was here was because her and Razzle decided to leave.
Razzle had come out and told his parents he had a boyfriend. Not only was his
boyfriend executed by their lair’s leader, but Razzle had been witch-hunted. They wanted to kill him and anybody close to him, and that included Bebop.
So they had run, and eventually found a Plague lair willing to take them in.
As they walked into the lair entrance- a hole in the ground that led to an underground tunnel- Bebop decided one thing.

She would never let herself be hunted again. She didn’t care how much training it took, she’d become the strongest dragon she could be if it meant she could protect Razzle.


Once they had been a part of the clan for a few weeks, Bebop was allowed to train. Not with an actual Plague-born wing, but it was still training! Bebop led a small party of three dragons including herself. They were all dragons from different flights that the plague dragons didn’t trust. There was a female imperial named Icicle from wind flight who was very quiet and mysterious, and a male Ridgeback from water flight named Silentwind who was very bold and cocky. Bebop loved them. They had taken to her almost immediately, and the three dragons had grown inseparable in the few weeks they’d known each other. They were one of the most powerful groups of dragons in the clan, actually.

Maybe if they could get just a little more powerful, the plague dragons would like them.
