"Kneel to me, mortal, or die like vermin!"

Arrogant, selfish, dangerous and powerful. Khvarenah is a dragon that revels in "lesser beings" worshipping her. There are those that say she hatched with a star in the place of her heart. There are others that jest she is powerful enough to have birthed the stars themselves.

And then there are those that believe it. In no small part due to her nature of allowing cults to revere her. Yet she does not actively search, for she believes that if you do not find her of your own accord, you are not worthy of her greatness.

She is a dragon more ancient than the grass covered ruins in the most remote lands of the world, and in some ways is brighter and more powerful than the sun itself. Her past is unknown and, to her, may as well not exist. What lead up to where she is now is a story lost in the sands of time, but what she has become is unmistakable.

In her words, she is light incarnate, and you will treat her with the reverence she deserves. Those that had the fortune to speak to her without angering her in some fashion say that she truly believes herself to be the god of light, able to blot out the sun as if it there was an eclipse as easily as blinking an eye. In her mind, she is a god, and if you do not worship as such she will burn you out of existence with her "holy light".

The only creatures that can get even remotely any respect from her are other dragons, but even they must prove themselves to be worthy to be her servants or be treated like little more than yet more vermin to be obliterated. To her, dragons are servants, other beings are nothing more than pests, and all are expendable. Her disciples are merely tolerated, not loved or respected- and as such she attracts those that believe her stark lack of emotional attachment to be the sign of true strength.

Any unfortunate enough to find themselves in her presence will note that she almost seems to forget to turn her head to whoever she is speaking to. A few have made the assumption that she is technically blind but, while that is true in some sense of the word, she is not. In reality, her physical eyes never worked from the day she hatched, but this was as a consequence of her terrifyingly masterful manipulation of light.

From day one she already had a rare ability that granted her a secondary vision that allows her to see in a complete spherical radius about her. Nothing is beyond her vision, whether you are behind her or at her flank. If you can see her, she has likely already seen you. As if that wasn't enough, she has the ability to become completely invisible at will, an ability using her control of light. Normally this cuts the vision off those that use it as the eyes will not be able to see when light passes through them as if they didn't exist, but since Khvarenah's vision does not use her eyes, she can see just as well as if she were allowing herself to appear corporeal.

She often does this when she can be seen, appearing like a translucent spirit, bathing herself in an almost otherworldly light. Parts of her vanishing and reappearing on a cycle, like a being with foreign existence.

Old and now irrelevant, saving just in case something here becomes useful in another way.

-Sometimes forgets to turn her head to whoever is speaking to her. Behavior leads some that do not yet know her to believe she is blind. Yet she navigates through any kind of twist or obstacle with ease, seemingly more so than a dragon without blinded eyes.

-She's a dragon that is a master at manipulating light and light-like energies from birth, but was ironically actually born absolutely blind. Instead, she now has a secondary vision that uses her affinity with light to see just about the same way she would if her eyes worked, except she now sees in a complete spherical radius and can see you no matter where she is 'looking'. If you can see her, she has already seen you.

-Not even her brother Tangwyn is on par with her, for she is, for the most part, unaffected by usual restraints when making herself invisible like he can do. The light sensing ability he uses to get minimal vision is, in reality, a primitive version of Rikuto's natural talent. Rikuto is the most dangerous of the two, for while Tangwyn must every once in a while become visible again for one reason or another, Rikuto doesn't have to. What's strange is the fact that she doesn't do this very often at all, at least not when compared to her brother Tangwyn. Her ability to remain invisible is limited only by how long she can do it before she hits a state of mental exhaustion.

-Carries a cloak that unfolds into a thick blanket whenever she is to travel far from home. Rikuto uses this when she sleeps as any light source from any direction has the potential to annoy her. As her physical eyes are blind, closing the lids do nothing for her. This vision is subconscious and cannot be "turned off" at will.

-She is an avid sentinel for the clan as it is virtually impossible for intruders to sneak up upon her. Occasionally uses her ability with light to coat herself in an illusion that makes herself appear as nothing but a statue for known intruders, so that she may sneak up on them. While she can become completely and absolutely invisible on command, she actually finds it more entertaining to watch the reactions of dragons as a "living statue". Likes to move when they aren't looking, step closer when their eyes are turned away. For some that is sufficient enough to scare them off permanently on its own. Rikuto has heard some dragons that this has worked on screaming a phrase of two words as they fled. She still has yet to figure out the meaning of "Weeping Angel".
