______ The one thing that rests closest to her heart is to listen. While her family was quiet and preferred to be alone, she always wanted to be around as many dragons as possible - not to speak, but to listen.

______ Hinder spent a lot of her time while she was young learning other dragon languages, to listen to coatls and faes speaking in their native accents as well. Never did she say much herself, but for a long time, she shyed away from any kind of silence. She always needed some dragon to tell her what the world was like from their perspective.

______ One day, her father, who worked at a small, home-made observatory, told her the tale of his Search, how he came to find this place that was their home, and how he came to love it and settled here to protect it. She listened, closely, and only two months from then she made a choice: She had to go on her own Search.

______ Suddenly leaving her home behind, driven from the inside to find her purpose far out there she got to experience the nature of the Shadowbinder's domain in all it's beauty - alone. While it unsettled her at first, the nights spent trotting over the moonlit fields and climbing through forests drowned in dark purple and blue hues made her grow a love to it all, as her sensitive ears learned to listen to not only dragon voices, but everything. Every little creature and every little plant seemed to have something to say.

______ Her discovery continues to drive her through the darkened flora and past the unique flauna of the shadowed lands - perhaps with time, she will find what she is looking for, to find something, or someone, she could truly listen to for a long, long time.
