Frey used to be a talented fighter, and spent many years of his life in battle. After too many close calls, he decided to put down the sword and move on. For a long while, he didn't know what to do with himself- he was so accustomed to fighting, he didn't even know what else he could do. He took to wandering, seeking a profession that might call out to him. His travels brought him to The Clan of Whispering Willows multiple times, and each time he was welcomed with open arms. Each time, he would find himself at The Inn. Each time, she would ask if this was the time he was staying. Over time, the answer changed from "No" to "Not yet" to "Maybe" until finally settling on "Yes". He still didn't know what he would do, but he now had a place to call his own. For a month he stayed in The Inn, wandering and observing everyone from his corner. During his observations, he realized that nobody here knew how to cook. Nagi tried, sure, but her attempts ended up on fire more often than not. He had no idea how to cook, either, but he figured it wouldn't be too hard to learn. He gleaned what he could from cookbooks, and the rest he's currently figuring out through trial and error. He's not the best, yet, but he's working on it! Merrilee has him working in the kitchens at The Inn hes spent so much time at.
