Hori took to tattooing at a very young age. She studied under her teacher, nearly as soon as she could stand and hold a needle. But her style of tattooing is rather different. She uses a technique called Tebori. Using this technique, she painstakingly inserts ink into the skin, via wooden handles and a metal needle, using a special ink that she enchants using her own Water magic, which can cause the tattoos to move if the client so desires. Tattoos from her take several sessions to complete, and can run up quite the price. But she loves what she does, and enjoys every client she's been with. Once done with her apprenticeship, Hori traveled around, settling down and setting up shop for a little bit, before moving on. She never intended on settling down, until she came to the Tiered City of Ilthorne. Setting up shop, she came across Yomigami, who personally welcomed her to the city. The two hit it off rather well, despite their personalities being different; Yomigami being more reserved, and Hori being the extrovert. Soon, a strong connection formed between them, and their bond could not be broken. Though Yomigami is away from home often, with his duties as the leader of the Top Tier, Hori keeps herself busy with her tattoo clients. When the day ends, they find themselves together once more, spending the night in each other's arms. ...So long as Yomigami doesn't work overtime. They have two sons together, Seno and Koyama. Hori adores them both, and even though they're both grown, she still spoils them. She's also tattooed them both with her art, as a sign of her love. Hori has a very strong, confident personality. She can sometimes be read as arrogant, though she's just confident in her work. She's soft with her sons, and her mate, though she hardly shows that side to anyone else. She's more extroverted than Yomigami, outspoken and loving a social setting. Hori can also be rather hot tempered at times, which sometimes causes trouble, when she's with Yomigami's inner circle. |
