Eldritch is fiercely protective of his clan. When he set out on The Search, he had no idea that his charge would become an entire clan of dragons in the Sunbeam Ruins. But as soon as he saw them, he knew it was his duty to protect them.

He trains with Raffe, the other defender of the clan, and together they make an intimidating team. They also teach other members of the clan how to fight and defend themselves. Eldritch's size and demeanor scare foes away, but to those he cares for, he's a huge teddy bear.
