Oceania

Coming from the bright blue ocean, Oceania is a fierce protector. Originally born and living in the ocean between the Southern Icefield and the Ashfall Waste, she managed the currents of the area until she was one day taken by a stronger current than her own. She drifted between the Windswept Plateau and Ashfall Waste until she came across Stream and her newly established lair. Having had to fight all her life to stay safe, Oceania quickly took on a threatening posture. However, her long and tedious trip had left her exhausted, injured and weakened and she was in no condition to fight. As Oceania closed her eyes thinking she would be quickly finished off, she was suddenly surprised to feel Stream's wing on her body. Stream took her to her own room, which was the only room at the time, and treated Oceania's injuries. After Oceania explained what had happened and why she reacted so hostile when she arrived, Stream offered her a place to stay and call home. While Oceania did not want to abandon her duty in her home, she could not imagine herself making the trip back healthy enough to confront whatever chased her away in the first place. She reluctantly accepted Stream's offer to stay. She found friendship with Crake, a ridgeback in her protection squad, after a fateful encounter and they became mates shortly after.

Now Oceania protects Steam's lair as her left hand woman. Along with Ivoryrose, she gives Stream advice based on what she sees and learns in the lair. While Ivoryrose works mostly behind the scenes, Oceania scouts the area and protects it from unwanted invaders. She picks up news while traveling through the realm and uses that to give Stream advice concerning the defense of the lair and new outside of the realm. She used to manage the currents of the lair as well, but has since then taught her daughter Eulalia how to do so and given that responsibility to her.
