lore notes
  • modern breed permababies died as hatchlings or are otherwise physically stunted, but are adults in mind and are not babysat by members of the clan. they have the same status and rights of an adult clan member.
  • ancient breed permababies are true hatchlings, and therefore are given to parents/guardians in the clan. they are heavily protected and are the first to be squirreled away in the event of a fight. while they have parents, everyone looks out for them, even the clan members that are nervous around hatchlings.
  • the alphas of the Wildclaw pack are Raja and Akira.
  • most members of the clan were entirely socialized by other members of the clan. as such, many dragons here do not behave like others of their species. this can make it hard for clan members to interact with non clan members, and often has the added side effect of resocializing even members who came later in life. though they rarely forget how to socialize outside of the clan, often becoming the ones who must speak to outsiders, they are forced to assimilate quickly.
  • stability is key for any group of dragons, but particularly one as large and traumatized as this clan. therefore, leadership only changes hands because of grievous injury or a battle to the death. a challenger who wins cannot resign, just like any other leader, so they must be sure of their decision before challenging.

    The clan will take any hatchling or dragon offered to them as tribute, sacrifice, or payment. Khaja firmly believes that any dragon willing to sell another dragon to another clan doesn't deserve to have them.
