Biography
A 'servus who came so close to failure, Sickle is nervous, shaken, and usually keeps to himself. For all his imposing form, inside he's just scared to fail others - he knows he's not as strong as plenty believe him to be for facing the trials - and worried that he's not worthy of the friends he has. For all the care he's been shown, he remains uncertain if he truly deserves it. When Miasm moved to go his own way, Sickle, ever uncertain, moved to follow suit.
As he journeyed away, however, he encountered the Mercy Cordierite. Unsure what she was, he'd let his plague out in readiness, in case he needed to fight - however Cordierite ate his plague, sating her hunger long before he drew close to her. Unsure what kind of Necromantic entity Cordy was, Sickle decided to return to the clan with her, only for the elder Necromancers to commend his ability to sate the young Mercy's hunger.
Sickle remains unsure how his ill control of his plague magic has allowed him to help Cordy but is nonetheless willing to try to help. Some weeks after Cordy arrived, they were found by Dragana, a much older and more self-possessed Mercy, who helped to teach Cordy to contain her hunger and Sickle how better to feed her. Between her long-learned skills and the nullborn magic of Primordium, Sickle and Cordierite both learn to better themselves and their magical skill.
