Biography
Written by the previous owner, not me! I take no credit!
She sat outside her den in eerie quiet, listening to every breaking twig and rustling leaf nearby. Her den lay underneath the rich forest floor, hidden to all except few. Watching the stars slowly rotate throughout the sky always helped Kendera feel calm at night, as well as watching the occasional shooting star.
A crack, then a mumbling voice, unmistakably coming from an intruder. Fear seared into her mind, wondering if they knew of her whereabouts. The voice, even from far away, was undoubtedly from a Snapper dragon, putting Kendera into panic. She was never the best at fighting, that honor was solely on Eliana. Her sister ended up leaving and joining the Lightweaver cause, before being able to teach Kendera most of her tactics. She tried to retreat into her den quietly, but ended up slipping on her way in, the leaves making the slightest sound.
Her stealth was usually her best attribute, but today, luck seems not to be on her side. While backed up to the edge of her burrow, she began to panic. The Snapper’s footsteps had begun to quicken, not caring about remaining hidden. As they began to near closer to the den, the running slowed, eventually into the original walk.
Kendra tried her best not to make a sound, trying not to breathe heavily. She knew the intruder was directly outside of her den.
The scraping of earth around the entrance set her into a panic. Was she found? If she was caught, there was no way for her to escape. The Snapper was digging around on the surface, directly above where she waited, shaking.
After a while, the Snapper finally gave up. With a loud grunt, they wandered off, leaving Kendera bewildered. How did they find her? Only her closest allies and siblings knew where she slept at night.
Once she believed the Snapper had gotten far enough away, she carefully left her old den. It was time to look for a new place to live, free of intruders, a safe place for her to live out her days, and plenty of water to fish and feast from.
