Pallenor

Pallinor's parents both have tragic pasts he's only gotten glimpses of, but luckily he can say their tragedies have not passed on to him. He wear spelled ribbons to bring him luck and happiness, a gift from his parents on the day he left their clan.

He has a gift for creating sources of light even in the darkest caverns. It comes in handy, especially whenever he gets lost, but it's also a comfort to him. As long as he can remember, Pallinor has has an unexplainable fear of darkness. When his mother discovered his fear, she asked his father, a magically gifted dragon, to help their son overcome his fear.

Pallinor was only a hatchling, unable to even fly, when his father, Magus, taught him how to fetch light with nothing but his own will. Magus was boastingly proud when his son picked up the skill without much effort, and young Pallinor was infinitely relieved. He would never suffer the darkness again.

His spaniel, Seeker, was a wedding gift from his mate, Opal. The dogs follows him wherever he goes, which is why Pallinor rarely flies. He chooses to stay grounded out of love for his faithful companion. When he does take to the sky, Pallinor fashions a magical pouch for his pet, another trick taught to him by his father.
