Personality
  • He is a solitary soul, having spent most of his life out hunting in the frigid boreal forests.
  • A survivalist at heart, he feels most at home skinning prey or patiently hunting fish. It’s all he knows, so he supplies copious amounts of food for the Pit. It's thankless, but he doesn't do it for that in the first place.
  • Just wants to live quietly and be left alone.
  • Bit of a bird nut; Ahren loves to watch them and, for some reason, refuses to kill them.
History
In lands where the days grow short and the nights grow long, he is known well. The first chill, the whispers of frost that caress the land, gripping what little life remains to seek the sun and smothering it back into the earth. It is a cold, hollow feeling, like a bitter wind howling through the leafless trees, their bark glittering and dead. So lovely, and yet so desolate.

Trivia
  • Ahren has a lovely singing voice, though is horribly shy about singing around anyone. Will sometimes go down to the Styx to listen to Ciel, and later will sing her songs himself when alone.
  • His flesh and scales look like cracked lake ice, and his wings are covered in heavy, fluffy feathers.
  • Umbrastyx and he are mates, they like to sing together now.
