Alastir was found along with his shattered egg as a mere baby on the very edge of the nature territories. The baby wailed over his crushed piece of his soul and would not let it go no matter how much they tried to make him bury it. A scout was sent to ask around the Arcane preserves if anyone was missing a child. No one came forward.

The very last thing they found was a desolated lair with unidentifiable dragon bones and signs of a terrible battle.

Alastir is a very quiet dragon and finds a sort of therapy in social activities that require little talking.
