Jillian had tried to make friends all her life. She tried to talk to other Dragons, share in their laughter, or join in their games, but she just couldn’t. There wasn’t anything wrong with her, except that she was very shy. She would usually watch the other Welps play or mock fight with each other while she stood on the sidelines. Growing up like this was hard for a young Welp, but the older she got, the more she started to appreciate being alone; she was able to be herself without the judgement of the other Dragons. She could pretend to be anything that she wanted without rules or anyone saying no to her ideas. She found happiness her solitude as she was able to explore the world around her. This sparked the love for scavenging and collecting odd little figures and trinkets. She became well versed in some of the items she found and was able to tell their worth. As she grew, she continued to collect these trinkets and soon was able to sell some to other Flights in her travels. Scavenging and searching had taken her all over the land, to new places, old places, calm place, and dangerous places. She learned to fight to defend herself as being alone, a Dragon couldn’t be too careful.

It was true that she loved to scavenge, but there was still always something missing, she felt. She still yearned for that pack comfort; it was rather odd for a Wildclaw as herself to be alone like this. She would often times dream of a home, where everyone loved her and she was never alone. After many nights of tossing and turning, she decided that she was to find a home. With her mind set, she took off the next morning in search of a forever home. Her journey brought her to the heart of the Shadow Flight. As she landed near a territory, she instantly felt herself clam up. What if they didn’t like her? What if she wasn’t good enough for clan life? As she turned to fly away, another Dragon stepped out. They let out a warning growl, but stopped when they saw the demeanor or Jillian. The Dragon beckoned for the Wildclaw to follow them into the territory. Scared, but willing, Jullian forced herself to follow. She was welcomed into the clan, but she soon found that she still felt lonely. The other Dragon’s did talk to her, but she was hesitant on talking to them.

She kept to herself still and started to scavenge around again. Something is still missing in this Wildclaw’s heart. She has a home, and has managed to make some friends in her new home, but what she really wishes she could find her all of her scavenging, is love.
